Changed Software Features in Cisco IOS XR Software Release 3.2.1
The following features were modified in Cisco IOS XR Software Release 3.2.1, and are supported on the
Cisco CRS-1 and Cisco XR 12000 Series Router platforms:
In Release 3.2.1, all Admin mode commands can be run only by entering into Admin mode, and not
by prefixing the command with the admin keyword in EXEC mode.
The following example illustrates the correct usage of the admin command. In this example, the
user executes the show running command from Admin mode by enter the admin command in EXEC
mode, followed by the show running command in Admin mode:
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:router# admin
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:router(admin)# show running
The following example illustrates incorrect usage of the admin command. In this example, the user
executes the show running command from EXEC mode by prefixing the show running command
with admin keyword:
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:router# admin show running
