As you advance through the game, you are allowed to enter races where you ride on a machine known as a Duel Runner. While
racing, make your way to the goal while avoiding the obstacles that block your path. You can restart some races by pressing START
to open the Pause Menu.
NOTE: Depending on the race the game will end if you loose and you will have to restart from where you last saved your game.
Endurance Gauge: This gauge decreases when your Duel Runner hits another obstacles. The race ends if your Endurance
Gauge reaches zero.
Shield Gauge: This gauge appears when the Duel Runner is equipped with a specifi c optional part. When equipped, this gauge
decreases instead of your Endurance when you hit obstacles.
Laser Energy Gauge: This gauge shows how much energy can be used for your laser.
Boost: Enables you to boost speed. The number of
shows how many boosts you have.
Race Controls
Steer .................................. +Control pad (left / right)
Accelerate ....................... A Button
Brake ................................. B Button
Boost ................................. L Button or R Button (available when certain optional parts are equipped)
Fire Laser ......................... X Button (available when certain optional parts are equipped)
Touch control is not available during races.
The Touch Screen shows the Duel Field and the Top Screen shows detailed information for the selected card. If you have multiple
pages of information, turn pages by touching
located in the upper-right section of the Touch Screen or by pressing the
Y Button.
Player Information: Your information appears on the left while your opponent’s details are shown on the right. Your remaining
Life Points and a gauge representing that value is displayed here.
Selected Card Details: The icons used here are similar to those described in Card Details*.
Current Turn Number: In Match Duels, the time remaining for the current turn is displayed next to the player who is in turn.
Replay Capacity: Shows how many Duel Replays can still be saved. You cannot save when an X appears.
Hand / Number Of Summons:
When playing a non-wireless Duel against the CPU, the Next Move icon appears on the right side in place of the Shuffl e Hand icon.
When the CPU starts thinking and a certain amount of time passes, the Touch Screen displays an icon indicating that it is still thinking.

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. warrants to the original purchaser of this Konami software product that the
medium on which this computer program is recorded is free from defects in materials and workmanship for a
period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase. This Konami product is sold "as is," without express or implied
warranty of any kind, and Konami is not liable for any losses or damages of any kind resulting from use of this
program. Konami agrees for a period of ninety (90) days to either repair or replace, at its option, free of charge, any
Konami product, postage paid, with proof of date of purchase, at its Factory Service Center. This warranty is not
applicable to normal wear and tear. This warranty shall not be applicable and shall be void if the defect in the
Konami software product has arisen through abuse, unreasonable use, mistreatment, or neglect.
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND NO OTHER REPRESENTATIONS OR CLAIMS OF
ANY NATURE SHALL BE BINDING ON OR OBLIGATE KONAMI. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES APPLICABLE TO THIS
SOFTWARE PRODUCT, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE NINETY (90) DAY PERIOD DESCRIBED ABOVE. IN NO EVENT WILL KONAMI BE
LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM POSSESSION, USE OR
MALFUNCTION OF THIS KONAMI PRODUCT.
Some states do not allow limitations as to how long an implied warranty lasts and/or exclusions or limitations of
incidental or consequential damages so the above limitations and/or exclusions of liability may not apply to you.

day, 7 days a week. All products must be deemed defective by a Konami Customer Service representative and an
RMA number assigned prior to returning the product. All products received not matching this criteria will be
returned if a Konami Customer Service Representative cannot reach you within three days upon receipt of the
unauthorized return.
