Editing the Default Policy: Anti-Spam Settings
Each row in the Email Security Manager represents a different policy. Each column represents a different

To edit the default policy, click any of the links for a security service in the bottom row of the Email

In this example, you will change the anti-spam settings for the default policy for incoming mail to be
more aggressive. The default value is to quarantine positively identified and suspected spam messages,
with marketing email scanning disabled. This example shows how to change the setting so that positively
identified spam is dropped. Suspected spam continues to be quarantined. Marketing email scanning is
enabled, with marketing messages being delivered to the intended recipients. The subjects of marketing
messages will be prepended with the text

Click the link for the anti-spam security service. The Anti-Spam settings page shown in

For default security service settings, the first setting on the page defines whether the service is
enabled for the policy. You can click “Disable” to disable the service altogether.
