Caveats
This section lists the open caveats for the AAP521.
Open Caveats
The following caveat is open in this release:
CSCsi84426—Confusing CCA error message
When reloading an access point after a software upgrade, if the access point receives a new DHCP
IP address, the CCA reports that the reload failed. The reload did not fail; the new IP address causes
the access point to be unreachable because the IP address stored in the CCA does not reflect the new
address.
Workaround: Ignore the message. The new DHCP address assigned to the access point after the
reload the access point is “lost” as far as the CCA is concerned. Correct this situation by removing
the access point referenced by the old address from the community and then add the access point as
it is discovered with the new DHCP address.
CSCsj02093—CCA authentication with MS IAS fails with WEP
When using the CCA to configure an AAP521 for EAP with dynamic WEP, the application selects
both Open w/EAP and Network EAP. When the client associates it passes the MS-PEAP
authentication via the Microsoft IAS server but cannot get a DHCP address or pass data.
Workaround: Manually set the access point to Open w/EAP only. The client is able to obtain a DHCP
address and pass data.
