To add an event:
STEP 1
Click Add.
STEP 2
Enter the parameters:

Community—The user-defined community to which the event belongs.
•
Description—Describes the user-defined event.
•
Event Type—The event type. Possible values are:

None—There is no event.

Log—Event type is a log entry.

Trap—Event type is a trap.

Log and Trap—Event type is both a log entry and a trap.
•
Owner—The switch or user that defined the event.
STEP 3
Click Apply. Your changes are saved to the Running Configuration.
To view a log of RMON Events, click Event Log Table.
The Event log displays the time and description of each event, up to a

Use the RMON Alarms Page to configure network alarms. Alarms occur when
