Network Deployments and Interfaces
The GSS, in either a stand-alone or a cluster configuration, partners with a GSN (either an SGSN or a GGSN) in a
GPRS/UMTS network to support a secure accounting solution. Optionally, other elements are included as needed such
as a billing/mediation system, a RADIUS AAA server, a fiber channel common storage server, and/or a Charging
Gateway Function (CGF).
