This command defines a rule definition to analyze and charge user traffic based on the protocol being transported by IP 
packets.

Security Administrator, Administrator 

 

Removes the specified rule definition. 

Specifies how to logically match the IP protocol. 

 must be one of the following: 

 

: Does not equal 

 

: Lesser than or equals—available only in StarOS 8.1 and later 

 

: Equals 

 

: Greater than or equals—available only in StarOS 8.1 and later releases 

Specifies the protocol by assignment number. 

 must be an integer from 0 through 255. 

For example, 1 for ICMP, 6 for TCP, and 17 for UDP. 

Specifies the protocol by name.
