The possible states for all LEDs on the Ethernet 10/100 and Ethernet 1000/QGLC cards are as follows: 
 
Ethernet 10/100 and Ethernet 1000/QGLC RUN/FAIL LED States 
The RUN/FAIL LEDs on the Ethernet 10/100 and Ethernet 1000/QGLC Line Cards indicate the overall status of the 
cards. These LEDs should be green for normal operation. 
 
The possible states for this LED are described in the following table. If the LED is not green, use the troubleshooting 
information in the table to diagnose the problem.
