This section presents information on RADIUS dictionary types.
Dictionary Types
The CLI command to specify the RADIUS dictionary is:

RADIUS dictionary custom23 should be used in conjunction with Enhanced

This dictionary consists only of the attributes specified in RFC 2865, RFC 2866, and RFC 2869. It also supports
3GPP release 4 and 3GPP Release 5 - extended QoS format.

This dictionary consists not only of all of the attributes in the standard dictionary, but also all of the attributes
specified in 3GPP 32.015.

This dictionary consists of the 3GPP2 dictionary, and includes the vendor-specific attributes (VSAs) as well. The
VSAs in this dictionary support a one-byte wide VSA Type field in order to support certain RADIUS applications.
The one-byte limit allows support for only 256 VSAs (0 - 255) as shown in the following figure. This is the
default dictionary.

Important:
In 12.0 and later releases, no new RADIUS/Diameter attributes can be added to the

using a two-byte VSA Type field as shown in the following figure. This dictionary is the master-set of all of the
attributes in all of the dictionaries supported by the system.
