Syntax Description
nexthop-forwarding-address ipv4_address
no nexthop-forwarding-address
no
Disables this function. This is the default setting.
ipv4_address
Specifies the next hop forwarding address for the APN. Must be an IPv4 address in dotted-decimal notation.
Ensure the route is available for this next hop address and its directly connected host. Use of an arbitrary
address can cause a routing loop within the host and lead to dropped packets.
Usage Guidelines
Use this command to configure the next hop forwarding address for the APN.
Examples
The following command configures the next hop forwarding address to 10.1.1.1:
nexthop-forwarding-address 10.1.1.1
