Cisco Cisco Packet Data Gateway (PDG)

For mobile subscribers, the FA generates a random number and sends it to the mobile node as part of the
mobile authentication extension (Mobile-Foreign Authentication extension) as described in RFC 3012. This
command sets the maximum length of the FA challenge in bytes.

max-challenge-len length

Default: 16

The maximum length, in bytes, of the FA challenge. This value must be an integer from 4 through 32.

Change the maximum allowed length of the randomly generated FA challenge its default of 16.

Use the following command to change the maximum length of the FA challenge to 18 bytes:
max-challenge-len 18
