Binds the service to the IP address of the local chassis.

configure > context context_name > service-redundancy-protocol
Entering the above command sequence results in the following prompt:
[context_name]host_name(config-srp)#
Syntax
bind address { ipv4 _address | ipv6_address }
no bind address
no
Removes the IP bind address.
ipv4 _address | ipv6_address
Specifies the system IP address using IPv4 dotted-decimal or IPv6 colon-separated-hexadecimal notation.
Important:
Both peers must be using the same address family (IPv4 or IPv6) or the Service Redundancy
Protocol (SRP) connection will not be established.
Usage
Defines the IP address of the local chassis defined as part of the ICSR configuration.
Example
The following example binds the service to the IP address
