Enables and disables flow control on the ASR 5000 Quad Gig-E line card (QGLC) and 10-Gig-E line card (XGLC).

Syntax
[ no ] flow-control
no
Disables flow control on the specified port.
Usage
Flow control is enabled by default on the QGLC and can be disabled using the
no
command on a per-port
basis. This command does not work on the Fast Ethernet Line Card (FELC) and Gigabit Ethernet Line Card
(GELC/GLC2) which do not support flow control.

Important:
Flow control must be enabled on all XGLCs in the chassis. To prevent XGLC shutdowns, you should
also enable flow control at 6Gbps on the peer ports of all routers in your network that connect with the ASR 5000.
