Identifies the address resolution mode for this APN profile.
Important:
From release 16.2 onwards, the S4-SGSN also supports this command.

Entering the above command sequence results in the following prompt:

Syntax
address-resolution-mode { fallback-for-dns | local }

Resets the configuration to the default value, that is,
fallback-for-dns
.
fallback-for-dns
Instructs the system to try DNS resolution. If the DNS query fails, the SGSN will use locally configured
addresses, if they have been configured. The pgw-address configured under apn-profile will be treated as
fallback for dns address and will used only after dns failure.
Default: enabled

Instructs the system to only use locally configured addresses and not to use DNS query.

Usage
Use this command to specify the DNS query or local address resolution for this APN profile.
Example
The following command sets the address resolution mode to use local addresses only if the DNS query fails:
