ip access-list
Enables creation, configuration or deletion of an IP Access List in the current context.

Sets the context’s default access control list to that specified by

is an alphanumeric string of 1 through 79 characters.
In Release 8.1 and later,

is an alphanumeric string of 1 through 47 characters.
If the named access list does not exist, it is created, and the CLI mode changes to the ACL Configuration
Mode, wherein the access list can be configured.
If the named access list already exists, the CLI mode changes to the ACL Configuration Mode, wherein the
access list can be reconfigured.

Executing this command enters the ACL Configuration Mode in which rules and criteria are defined for the
ACL.

A maximum of 64 rules can be configured per ACL. The maximum number of ACLs that can be
configured per context is limited by the amount of available memory in the VPN Manager software task; it is typically
less then 200.
