Disable Bulk Statistics Collection on a Standby Instance
You can disable the collection of bulk statistics from a VPC-VSM instance when it is in the standby mode of operation.
Important:
When this feature is enabled and a VPC-VSM instance transitions to standby state, any pending
accumulated statistical data is transferred at the first opportunity. After that no additional statistics gathering takes place
until the instance comes out of standby state.

Use the following example to disable the bulk statistics collection on a standby VSM.

bulkstat mode
no gather-on-standby

Repeat this procedure for both VPC-VSM instances.
