Support for 802.11ac in 3600 series Access Points
1. Maximum transmit power will vary by channel and according to individual country regulations. Refer to the product 
documentation for specific details.

Support for 802.11ac in 3600 series Access Points
802.11ac is available as the third radio slot in the 3600 series access points. The following modes of 
operation are supported in Cisco IOS Release 15.2(4)JA:

Local Mode

Flex Mode

Connected Mode
  –
Standalone Mode
The following modes are not supported:
  •
Mesh
  •
Spectrum
  •
Monitor mode
  •
Autonomous mode
Note
The 802.11ac radio must be disabled when the AP is configured in any of the unsupported modes.
Note
SSIDs with TKIP and SSIDs with TKIP+AES are not be enabled on 802.11ac radios. Hence, all 5 GHz 
clients will have to join 802.11n radios.
