Introduction
This document explains how to install and operate the Cisco ONS 15454 DWDM passive optical
modules, the fiber shuffle, and the MPO fan-out unit.

The passive optical modules are used to build the optical network system. The fiber shuffle and MPO
fan-out unit mechanically holds 14 and 10 passive optical modules respectively, thus enabling
interconnection of flex spectrum ROADM nodes that contain 16-WXC or SMR-FS cards.

The passive optical modules, fiber shuffle, and MPO fan-out unit can be installed on:
