Product Overview
The Cisco MCS 7825-I2 Unified CallManager Appliance is an integral part of a complete, scalable
architecture for a new generation of high-quality IP communications solutions that operate on
enterprise data networks. This powerful platform is a solution that is easy to deploy and highly
cost-effective, and it delivers the high performance and availability that today’s enterprise networks
demand. The server appliance is preinstalled with an operating system and the Cisco Unified
CallManager 5.1 application. It is fully operational upon startup, requiring entry of just a few
configuration items such as IP address and domain. The appliance includes the following features
and components:

Intel dual-core, Pentium D, 2.8- or 3.4-GHz processor with an 800-MHz front side bus
(FSB) and 4 MB of Layer 2 cache
●
2 GB of installed PC2-4200 error correction code (ECC) double data rate 2 (DDR2)
synchronous dynamic RAM (SDRAM); 8 GB maximum
●
Two integrated 10/100/1000T Gigabit Ethernet network-interface-card (NIC) ports
●
Two 80-GB serial-advanced-technology-attachment (SATA) hard disk drives configured in
Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID) level 1
●
No floppy diskette drive installed
●
Quick-deployment third-party rail kit
●
350W autoranging, Power Factor Correction (PFC) power supply
●
One rack unit (1RU) (1.75 in./4.5 cm high) form factor, 22 in./56 cm deep
