Maintain the Host Certification Revocation List
Maintaining the host certificate revocation list (CRL) is based on the CRL list
generated and distributed to you by CableLabs. This list identifies device certificates
that were revoked by CableLabs.
When a host device is revoked, you can add it to the CRL list, which indicates that

have a CableCARD module or an M-Card module associated with this host device,
the host device can still receive “copy freely” digital content.

Maintaining the Host CRL
1 From the CableCARD Data Summary window, click Maintain CRL to view the

2 Perform one of the following functions:
Click Add New CRL Item to add a new host device to the CRL list.
Select a host from the Revoked Host list, and click Delete Selected CRL Item
to remove a host from the CRL list.
Click Show CableCARDs with Revoked Hosts to see a complete list of hosts
on the CRL list.
