Configure Unencrypted Transport Streams
In order to make the stream available to DHCTs and hosts with PowerKEY
CableCARD modules, a special configuration is needed. Complete the following
tasks to set up this headend configuration.
1 Contact Cisco Services to enable the "Third-Party Source" feature on the DNCS.

This section provides a procedure for setting up the QAM for operation. This
procedure enables the passthru mode on the QAM modulator.

Note: You can use either a D9476 CA QAM or an MQAM as your clear QAM. If you
use an MQAM, you can only use one input and one output. However, the MQAM
can broadcast at a frequency of up to 867 MHz.
