Replacing the RF Gateway 1 Front Panel
Replacing the RF Gateway 1 Front Panel
Follow the instructions below to replace the front panel.
WARNING:
When the front panel is removed, an ESD wrist strap should be used to
prevent damage to the device.
To prevent unpredictable LCD behavior, it is recommended that the unit
be turned off when replacing the front panel.
1 Turn off the chassis.
2 Loosen the thumb screws on the front of the chassis and remove the front panel.
2 Loosen the thumb screws on the front of the chassis and remove the front panel.
Important: Make sure the wrist strap is attached.
3 Remove the ribbon cable from the circuit board between the two fans on the left
side of the chassis.
4 Connect the ribbon cable from the new front panel to the connector from which
the old ribbon cable was removed.
5 Replace the front panel, taking care not to pinch the ribbon cable.
6 Tighten the thumb screws.
