3  Remove the original (standard) AGC module. 

Note:  Pull straight up on the module housing to remove the module. 
 

 

 

4  Install the QAM AGC module. 

Notes:   

 

Make sure that all of the pins on the bottom of the QAM AGC module align 

properly with the holes in the amplifier module before pushing down on the 

module to insert it. 

 

Make sure that the ground strap hole aligns with the screw hole in the node 

housing. 

5  Replace the metal cover on the GainMaker amplifier module. 

Note:  Tighten the cover screws from 10 in-lb to 12 in-lb (1.3 Nm to 1.4 Nm).
