Example 4 - The following example adds a secure MAC address:

Use the clear mac address-table Privileged EXEC command to remove learned or 
secure entries from the forwarding database (FDB).

Syntax

clear mac address-table 

dynamic interface interface-id

clear mac address-table 

secure interface interface-id

Parameters

dynamic interface 

interface-id

—Delete all dynamic (learned) addresses on 

the specified interface.The interface ID can be one of the following types: 
Ethernet port or port-channel. If interface ID is not supplied, all dynamic 
addresses are deleted.
