Confirming the Timing Source
Use the
command, documented in the Exec Mode Commands chapter of the Command Line Interface
Reference, to confirm the timing source has been configured correctly.
Enabling CLI Timestamping
To display a timestamp (date and time) for every command that is executed on the CLI, enter the following command at
the root prompt for the Exec mode:

Immediately after you execute the command, the date and time appear.
Save the configuration as described in the Verifying and Saving Your Configuration chapter.
Configuring System Administrative Users
