•  WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS:

-  DO NOT try to light any appliance.
-  DO NOT touch any electrical switch.
-  DO NOT use any phone in your building.
-  Immediately call your gas supplier from 

a neighbor’s phone. Follow the gas 
supplier’s instructions.

-  If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call 

the fire department.

•  Installation and service must be performed 

by a qualified installer, service agency, or the 
gas supplier.

Anti-tip device

WARNING

ALL RANGES CAN TIP, RESULTING IN 
PERSONAL INJURY.
TIPPING RANGES CAN CAUSE BURNS 
FROM SPILLS, PERSONAL INJURY, AND/
OR DEATH.
INSTALL AND CHECK THE ANTI-TIP 
BRACKET USING THE INSTRUCTIONS 
AND TEMPLATE SUPPLIED WITH THE 
BRACKET.

•  To prevent accidental tipping of the range, 

attach an approved anti-tip device to the 
floor. (See Installing the Anti-Tip Device in the 
Installation Instructions.) Check for proper 
installation by carefully tipping the range 
forward. The anti-tip device should engage and 
prevent the range from tipping over.

•  AFTER THE RANGE HAS BEEN INSTALLED, 

CONFIRM THAT THE ANTI-TIP DEVICE HAS BEEN 
PROPERLY INSTALLED AND VERIFY THAT THE 
ANTITIP DEVICE IS PROPERLY ENGAGED.
