Push the release button to open the ADF cover.

Locate the rollers.

Wipe the rollers with a clean, water-dampened, lint-free cloth.

Do not pour water directly onto the rollers. Doing so might damage the device.

Locate the separation pad.

Wipe the pad with a clean, water-dampened, lint-free cloth.

10 Close the ADF cover.

If the separation pad and feed rollers cannot be cleaned adequately, they might

need to be replaced.
