Menu Settings

Press the 

[F9] (COPY) button while holding down

the SFT button.
The menu settings are recalled from the selected
VTR memory bank.
When the recalling process has been completed,
the title of the VTR bank appears under
CURRENT SETUP in the display.

Press the 

[F10] (EXIT) button.

The SET UP menu appears again.

You can store menu settings in the VTR memory
banks and cue point data to an memory card for recall
later.
The MEMORY CARD indicator lights up when you
insert a memory card.
You can then access the MEMORY CARD menu
directly from other menus (HOME/TC/CUE/PF1/PF2)
by pressing the ACCESS button.

Memory card function

Press the button on the right side of the insertion slot.

• Be sure to insert the memory card fully. If the

memory card is not inserted properly, the MEMORY
CARD indicator will flash. If this happens, reinsert
the memory card.

• If the battery in the memory card is dead, the

MEMORY CARD indicator will flash. If this
happens, replace the battery in the memory card.

• The ACCESS button flashes while the VTR is

writing to or reading from a memory card.  Do not
eject the memory card while the indicator is flashing.

The supplied memory card or other memory cards
must be formatted before you can use them.

Formatting a memory card

Insert the memory card.
The MEMORY CARD indicator lights up.

Press the ACCESS button.
MEMORY CARD menu appears in the display.

Press the 

[F1] (FORMAT CARD) button.

A message asking you to confirm the operation
appears in the display.
