A 2-way intercom can be set up between the base unit and a cordless handset, and 
between two cordless handsets (when the system has one or more additional 
cordless handsets, p. 20). You can call all cordless handsets from the base unit at once.

• Using this feature, you can also locate a misplaced cordless handset.

Press [LOCATOR/INTERCOM/TRANSFER].

• The LOCATOR/INTERCOM/TRANSFER indicator 

and the DIGITAL SP-PHONE indicator light.

To switch from the speakerphone to the 
handset, lift it off the cradle.

To page all cordless handsets, press [0]. 
To page a cordless handset, press its 
extension number ([1] to [8]).

• The cordless handset(s) will ring for 1 minute.
• To stop paging, place the handset on the cradle, 

or if using the speakerphone, press [DIGITAL 
SP-PHONE] or [LOCATOR/INTERCOM/
TRANSFER].

When the paged party answers, talk into the 
MIC or handset.

To disconnect the intercom, place the handset on the cradle, or if 
using the speakerphone, press [DIGITAL SP-PHONE] or 
[LOCATOR/INTERCOM/TRANSFER].

Press [HOLD] (INTERCOM).

To page the base unit, press [0].
To page another cordless handset, press the 
extension number ([1] to [8]).

• The paged unit will ring for 1 minute.
• To stop paging, press [OFF]. 

When the paged party answers, start talking.

• You can switch to the speaker by pressing [

]. 

To switch back to the receiver, press [

].

To disconnect the intercom, press [OFF] or place 
the cordless handset on the charger.
