1. Recall the check, or enter items and press {TOTAL}.

For a separate check, recall the separate check # to

be authorized.

2. Index the amount for the first card, press {CARD~AUTH}.
3. At the prompt, swipe the credit card through the

magstripe reader.

•

Authorization is processed. Voucher prints on Guest

Check printer.

•

Screen returns to ENTER ORDER prompt.

4. Index amount for the second card, press {CARD~AUTH}.

Screen prompts:

<ENTER> KEY TO RE-PRINT VOUCHER

<BACKSPACE> KEY TO ENTER A NEW CARD

5. Press {BACKSPACE}.
6. At the prompt, swipe the second credit card through the

magstripe reader.

Authorization is processed. Voucher prints on Guest

Check printer.

•

Screen returns to ENTER ORDER prompt.

7. Index amount for the third card, press {CARD~AUTH}.
8. Screen prompts:

1. (First card type, number, expiration date).
2. (Second card type, number, expiration date).
3. NEW CARD NUMBER.

9. Index {3} for NEW CARD NUMBER and press {ENTER}.

10. At the prompt, swipe the third credit card through the

magstripe reader.

•

Authorization is processed. Voucher prints on Guest

Check printer.

•

Screen returns to ENTER ORDER prompt.

11. Continue this procedure for as many cards as wanted.

The entire check amount does not have to be autho-

rized, if, for example, split tendering with cash.
