Some point-of-sale functions require more control than oth-

ers so require manager assistance to execute. These func-

tions are accessed by depressing the {MANAGER} key and en-

tering a 4 or 5 digit manager code. As a result, a menu

screen displays a list of “floor” or front-end options that can

be selected during normal restaurant operations. These

manager functions can be executed from any front-end

terminal.
Other functions need even more control, such as resetting

reports and adjustment MOP totals. Those functions are

grouped together in the Management Menu which is ac-

cessed from the Manager Key Menu.
The chart below outlines Manager Functions available from

the front-end terminals. These functions are detailed in this

chapter.
