The Delete Check function starts a new check but all items,

including menu items, modifiers, guest count, tax, dis-

counts, and gratuity have negative values. This enables

values of a paid out check to be subtracted from reports.

q A copy of the check should be used for reference. The

order should be reentered exactly as it was originally

entered so that all totals are correctly subtracted from

all reports.

q The delete check function must be done on the same

terminal where the check was originally entered to cor-

rectly update the Revenue Center report. This also as-

sures that the tax is correctly subtracted from reports.

1. From the Server Screen, press {MANAGER}.
2. Index Manager Code #, press {ENTER}.
3. Manager Key Menu displays.
4. Press {MANAGEMENT}.
5. Management Menu displays.
6. Press {DELETE~CHECK}.
7. Touch the cash drawer (A or B) from which check totals

are to be subtracted.

8. Touch the name which describes why the check is being

deleted (from the Void/Delete Table).

9. Touch the name of the server.

10. Press {START~CHECK} - If Cashier/Bar terminal or

Restaurant terminal in Check Mode

Press {TABLE~NUMBER} - If Table Tracking, Restaurant

terminal. Index Table #, {ENTER}

(does not have to be same as

original).

NOTE: {START~CHECK} can be used on a Restaurant ter-

minal in Table Tracking Mode, but the screen will not

prompt for the # Guest.
