Scheduled batches can be performed using the Windows Task Scheduler. A scheduled 

batch will error if Scale View is currently in operation. A scheduled task will be 

needed for each department. PLU, Ingredient, and Nutrition batches are sent for the 

scheduled task for each department. Please refer to the Windows manual or help 

menu to set up  scheduled task(s). The TMCC and LAN (FTP) command switches are the same, 

however FTP must be specified for departments using LAN communications. For TMCC add 

the following statement to the run command line “batch,x” where “x” = the department number, 

after setting up a scheduled task for the file “scaleview.exe”. See sample.

The only space is between the “.exe” and “batch”.  For LAN (FTP) add the following statement 

to the run command line “FTP,batch,x” where “x” = the department number, after setting up a 

scheduled task for the file “scaleview.exe”. See sample.
