3.2  CONNECTORS
COM1 ..................... D-sub 9-pin male type connector (without power supply)
The LS-770/780 slot scanner, modem, serial Interface type scale, EFT, etc. are connectable.
COM2 ..................... D-sub 9-pin male type connector (without power supply) (See 
NOTE below.)
The LS-770/780 slot scanner, modem, serial Interface type scale, EFT, etc. are connectable.
COM3 ..................... D-sub 9-pin female type connector (with +5V, +12V output)
The LIUST-51/53, RS-232C type hand scanner (HS-530) are connectable.
SIO2 ....................... D-sub 9-pin female type connector (with +5V, +12V output) (See 
NOTE below.)
The LIUST-51/53, RS-232C type hand scanner (HS-530) are connectable.
DRW1T, 2T ............ A 24V type drawer (DRWST-50A/51A, DRWST-52) is connectable.
PRT1 ...................... D-sub 25-pin female connector
Printer, etc. having a Centronics interface or equivalent are connectable.
VGA/LVDS ............. D-sub 15-pin connector (single display model) or TEC interface 26-pin connector with locks
(dual display model)
CRT/Analog TFT (single display model) or TFTST-56 (dual display model) is connectable.
LAN ........................ Modular type connector for the 10BASE-T LAN interface (A and B models)
Modular type connector for the 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX LAN interface (C model)
Audio Connector .... Pin jack connector for audio line out (C model with sound function only)
Speaker is connectable.
NOTE:
The ST-60 is provided with COM 2 or SIO2 depending on models. COM2 is provided only for the
models which include the customer’s display. SIO2 is provided only for the  models which do not
include the customer’s display.

PS-2 Connectors:
Connector for the PS-2 type mouse (A mouse cannot be used when the touch
panel is activated.)
Connector for the PS-2 type keyboard (PKBST-50/51/51C or PC Keyboard)
(When the MCR is installed, this connector can be used for the PC keyboard
interface. When the POS keyboard is connected to this connector, the MCR and
mode key switch provided on the POS keyboard are not available.)
USB Connectors:
Connector for the USB (Universal Serial Bus) interface. This connector is
unavailable when the OS (operating System) is not supported.
Power LED (Green):
Lights while the power is turned on.
HDD LED (Yellow):
Blinks when the hard disk is activated.
FDD Connector:
Connector for the FDDST-60-1-QM external FDD unit
Reset Switch:
Pressing this key while the ST-60 is hung-up resets the unit.
Brightness Control:
Adjusts the brightness of the operator’s display.
Speaker Volume Control:
Adjusts the speaker volume of the ST-60.
