From the Hardware Installation dialog, click 

“Continue anyway.” The Digidesign 
WaveDriver Setting dialog will automatically 
open.

Click the Advanced button to open the I/O 

Setup dialog.

Click the A: No Interface tab.

Select Digi 002 for the Peripheral Type.

Make any other desired settings in the I/O 

Setup dialog.

Click OK to close the I/O Setup dialog.

Click OK to close the WaveDriver Settings di-

alog.

Restart Windows when prompted.

Removing the WaveDriver

To remove the WaveDriver:

Choose Start > Control Panel.

Click the System icon.

Click the Hardware tab.

Click the Device Manager button.

Expand the “Sound, video, and game control-

lers” section.

Double click Digidesign WaveDriver.

7  

Choose the Driver tab.

8  

Click Uninstall.

How to Change WaveDriver 
Settings

To change settings for the WaveDriver:

Choose Start > Control Panel.

Click the System icon.

Click the Hardware tab.

Click the Device Manager button.

Expand the “Sound, video, and game control-

lers” section.

Double click Digidesign WaveDriver.

Choose the Properties tab.

Expand Audio Devices.

Double click Digidesign WaveDriver.

In the Digidesign WaveDriver Properties dia-

log, click the Settings button.

The Digidesign WaveDriver Settings dialog ap-
pears.

The Digidesign WaveDriver Settings dialog can-
not be accessed under the following circum-
stances:

When Pro Tools LE is running and the Opera-

tions > Active in Background option is enabled.
