Braised beef with garlic
Ingredients
HD4746: 800 g beef/HD4743: 300 g beef (shin or chuck steak), trimmed
2 tbsp Shao Shing wine
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp light soy sauce
180 g garlic cloves, peeled and chopped
3 tbsp. oil
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
HD4746: 800 ml stock/HD4743: 300 ml stock
5 spring onions, sectioned

 Cut the beef into cubes of approx.  cm.
  
 Brown the beef with the garlic in a wok for about - minutes. Add the wine and stir 
continuously for about 1 minute. Remove from the heat.
  
 Put the wok contents in the inner pot of the rice cooker. Season with salt, sugar and soy 
sauces. Pour in the stock.
  
 Press the MENU button to select the slow cooking process. Set a cooking time of  hours. 
See section ‘Slow cooking’.

 Add the spring onions when the cooking process is finished.

 Just before serving, add some dissolved corn starch to slightly thicken the sauce.
Environment
Do not throw the appliance away with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but
