receive a message
When you receive a message, your phone plays an
alert, flashes
e
(new message) on the external
display and displays a new message notification on
the home screen. Press the Read softkey to read the
message immediately or the Exit softkey to save it in
your message inbox for viewing later. To read
messages in your message inbox:

Messages > Inbox
Scroll to the message you want to read. Press Select to
open the message. For MMS messages, your phone
displays the media object, then the message.
voicemail
Your network stores the voicemail messages
you receive.
When you receive a voicemail message, your phone
shows an indicator and New voicemail message. Press Call to
call your voicemail.
To check your voicemail messages at any time:
Find it:

Messages > Voicemail > Call
Note:
Your service provider may have assigned quick
dial number
1
for calling voicemail and may provide
additional information about using voicemail.
