Problem Solving 
Troubleshooting 
The table below provides corrective action for possible problems with the 
CNXRMCS. If further assistance is required, please contact a Crestron 
customer service representative.

Television or other 
high current device not 
drawing enough 
current to trigger 
CNXRMCS. 
If the device does not draw 
enough current, Crestron 
recommends that you use the 
ST-CS or CNCS Current 
Sensors. Refer to the latest 
revisions of the ST-CS (DOC. 
5677) or CNCS (DOC. 8079)

Television not 
operating properly. 
Verify that the television turns 
OFF/ON manually. 
Room Solution 
Box not sensing 
television 
OFF/ON status. 
CNXRMCS digital 
output wires or 
connector not firmly 
connected. 
Verify that each digital output 
wire and the 2-pin connector 
are firmly connected. 
CNXRMCS is not 
receiving power. 
Confirm that the power outlet 
has AC voltage and that the 
CNXRMCS is firmly plugged 
in the outlet. 
No power to 
television or 
other high 
current device. 
CNXRMCS is not 
transferring power to 
its outlet. 
Confirm that the CNXRMCS 
outlet has AC when plugged 
in the power outlet and the 
high current device plug is 
firmly plugged in the 
CNXRMCS outlet.
