Chapter 10:  Slides
To change slide order with the Filmstrip in Edit view:
1.
Open an Adobe Captivate project.
2.
Click the Edit tab.
3.
Click a slide in the Filmstrip that you want to move and hold the left mouse button down.
4.
Drag the slide to a new location in the Filmstrip and release the mouse button.
Tip: In either Storyboard view or in the Filmstrip you can select multiple slides by pressing Shift or Ctrl 
on the keyboard while clicking the desired slides. To select all slides, press Ctrl+A or from the Edit 
menu, select Select All Slides.
Changing slide navigation
You have many options for navigating your audience through your project. The navigation option 
for each slide determines what happens when that slide is done playing. Navigation choices 
include the following:
Go to previous slide
Go to next slide
Jump to slide
Open URL or file
Open other project
Send e-mail to
Execute JavaScript
To change slide navigation:
1.
Open an Adobe Captivate project.
2.
Select a slide whose navigation you want to change.
3.
On the Slide menu, click Properties.
4.
From the Navigation pop-up menu, select the navigation choice you want.
5.
Click Apply. 
Tip: Through the Slide Properties dialog box, you can apply one navigation choice to all slides. After 
selecting the navigation choice for the selected slide, select Apply to all and click Settings to choose 
how to apply the change, and then click OK.
Tip: You can also change the navigation for multiple slides simultaneously by selecting them in the 
Storyboard view. To select multiple slides, press Ctrl and hold down while you click the slides you 
want to change. After selecting the slides, right click any one of them and click Properties on the slide 
menu. 
Changing slide color
Slides can be any color you select. Slide color can depend, however, on the slide type and how the 
slide was captured. For example, if you set the background color of a project, all new blank slides 
you add are assigned the background color. You can change the color of a slide using slide 
properties.
