Setting Date and Time

Press [MENU].

Scroll to “Date and time” by 
pressing [dor [B], then press 
the soft key (
).

Enter 2 digits each for the 
month, day and year. 
(Ex. To set June 15, 2005, 
enter “06 15 05”.)

Enter 4 digits for the time 
(hour and minute). (Ex. To set 
9:30, enter “0930”.)
• To move the cursor, press the soft 
key (
) or (
).

Select “AM” or “PM” by pressing [*].

Press the soft key (
), then press [OFF].
• To confirm the date and time, repeat steps 1 and 2.
The current date and time are displayed. When finished, press 
[OFF].
Step 4
Recording Your Own Greeting 
(Optional)
You can record a personal greeting message of up to 2 minutes. If you do not record 
your own message, one of two pre-recorded greetings will be played for callers.
For details, see pages 22
23 in the Operating Instructions.
Press 
[GREETING REC] 
twice.
After the long beep, 
talk into the MIC.
When finished, press 
[GREETING REC] or 
[STOP].
• To instruct callers to leave a message in a specific mailbox (Mailbox 1, 
Mailbox 2, or Mailbox 3): 
You can record a message, such as “Hello, this is (your name and/or number). Sorry, 
we cannot take your call. If you have a message, for John press [#] and [1], for Jane 
press [#] and [2], for Jack press [#] and [3], before the beep. Or just stay on the line 
and leave a message after the beep. Thank you.”
