recommend selecting a different 
one for outside calls.

To stop the alarm, press any dial key 
or place the handset on the charger.

When the handset is in use, the alarm 
will not sound until the handset is in 
standby mode.
L
If the talking alarm clock is set at the 
same time for two or more handsets, 
the first handset makes the 
announcement, while the other 
handsets only sound the tone.
L
If the other unit is in use at the set 
time, the handsets sound the tone 
instead of the selected 
announcement.
L
If you select “Once”, the setting 
changes to “Off” after the alarm 
sounds.
L
The ringer volume for the alarm 
follows the volume level of the 
landline. When the ringer volume for 
the landline is set to off (page 30), the 
alarm sound is heard at a low level.

address where you can download the 
operating instructions or get further 
information for this product by using your 
computer.

Cellular line mode
If you do not use the landline and only 
use cellular lines, we recommend setting 
the unit to the cellular line mode.
Once you set this mode:
– {C} or {s} can be used other than 
the soft key {Cell} (page 20).
– programmable settings for the 
landline are not displayed and 
become inapplicable (page 26, 27, 
30)

When you use the landline again
Before connecting the telephone line to 
the base unit, perform the above setting 
again.
