It cannot access the drive with other
software such as Explorer.
The drive in use by this software cannot be accessed by other software. Close this software
before accessing with other software.
Formatting of the DVD-RAM/RW that
was recorded with this software is not
possible.
The DVD-RAM/RW that was recorded with auto protect enabled is set as protected, so it may
not be able to format with other DVD recording software or Explorer.
In this case, the protect setting is cleared by formatting the disc with this software, making
it possible to format with other software. ([Complete erasure] takes a long time, so it is
recommended to use [Simple erasure])
Data addition for AVCHD/AVCHD Lite
motion pictures is impossible.
Data can be added only to the following media.
●
DVD-RAM or memory card that was recorded with this software.
●
Memory card that was recorded with compatible digital camera.
Cannot write to CD/DVD.
A CD/DVD drive that is compatible with the Windows standard writing wizard is necessary.
If the [Recording] tab is not displayed in [Properties] of your CD/DVD drive, the drive is not
compatible with the writing wizard and cannot be used.
Windows XP is compatible with CD writing only.
An error occurs when writing an
AVCHD/AVCHD Lite motion picture.
Following reasons are possible.
●
It is not a compatible media.
●
In the case of a memory card, it was not formatted on a compatible file system.
Format the memory card with a compatible digital camera. (All recorded data will be deleted.)
●
Drive and disc are incompatible.
Use a disc that is recommended for the drive.
(Some discs may not play back even if the recording has completed correctly.
Execute playback confirmation after recording.)

Affected by the condition of the drive where the OS is installed or the drive specified as the
work area.
Defragment as necessary.
To defragment, select [Computer] (My Computer) in the Start menu, right-click the
icon of the hard disk drive, and select [Properties] → [Tools] → [Defragment Now] →
[Defragment now]. However, do not defragment while this software is running.

Other software is running.
Exit. It may fail to record or damage the disc.
(In particular, software for DVD or CD writing, or programs that use a lot of memory,
such as motion picture recording or encoding software.)
