Configuring a Multiway Group
In TaHomA, it is possible to replicate a traditional 3-way or multi-way light switch configuration with Z-Wave devices using an
association process initiated in the Device Configurator. Like a traditional multi-way configuration, a Multiway Group consists of a
single load control switch or dimmer (a “Leader”) and at least one accessory switch or dimmer (a “Follower”). Leader and Follower
devices can only be part of one Multiway Group.
1.  Make sure that all devices are properly installed and Leader devices properly control all connected loads. Include both
Leader & Follower devices into TaHomA as per device-specific instructions.
2.  In the Device Configurator, select the Leader device. Click on its EDIT button to open the Device Editor window.
3.  In the Device Editor window, click on the CREATE NEW MULTIWAY GROUP button. This will bring you to the Multiway
Group Manager and open the New Multiway Group Editor Window.
4.  In the New Multiway Group Editor window, name your Group. The Leader device will already be selected. Choose from
the available Follower devices from the drop down menus to activate your Group.
5.  Once you have completed your selections, click SAVE.
6.  The new Multiway Group will appear in the Multiway Group Manager. Click BACK to return to the Device Configurator.
7.  Repeat as necessary.
Home Occupancy
TaHomA’s “Home Occupancy” feature consists of two dedicated Scenes for maximizing energy efficiency. These two Scenes are
called “TaHomA Home” and “TaHomA Away” and are present by default in the Scene Configurator; however, you must add devices
and choose their setting as with any other Scene. When this feature is enabled, after no motion is detected by any motion sensor
for 30 minutes (plus the motion sensor’s delay time), the “TaHomA Away” Scene will activate. When motion is detected again, the
“TaHomA Home” Scene will activate immediately.
1.  In TaHomA’s Scene Configurator, you must configure the “TaHomA Home” and “TaHomA Away” Scenes. Click each
Scene’s EDIT button and choose devices and settings for each Scene.
