In this menu, you can send and delete the

messages saved in the outbox. 

You can write and send a text message of up to

160 alphanumeric characters or up to 70

characters in Chinese.

1. To access the Message menu, and text

massage menu press the 

Key in Standby

Mode.  

2. Select the Text Message and press the

or

key to scroll to Write Message. 

Press the     soft key.

3. Enter a message. For further details about

how to enter text, see page 71.

4. When you press the     key, popup massage

“Save Message?” will be displayed select the 

soft key to save the message you

currently write in the Unsent Box. 

5. When you finish entering the message, press

the    soft key.

6. Enter the recipient's phone number and send

the message. If you want to recall the number
from your phonebook, press the     soft key
and search for the number to which you want
to send the message. 

You can view the messages you sent.

To view the messages:

1. To access the MESSAGES menu, and text

massage menu press the 

Key in Standby

Mode.

2. Select the Text Message and press the

or

key to scroll to the Outbox and 

press the     soft key.

The list of the sent messages displays.

The screen shows the: 

• sender’s phone number.

• icon on the left of each message to show

whether or not it is saved;      (Sent).

3. Scroll to a message by pressing the

or

key and press the     soft key.

4. Use the

or

key to scroll through the

contents.

Press the      soft key to edit the message text or

use the options. 

5. To view the previous or next message, press

the

or key.

6. To return to Standby Mode, press the     key.
