p.  Remove the Data Logger from the Software Interface and press Cancel.  The LCD will display 
Action?(1-9)” 
2.  Place the Vehicle into Maintenance Lockout. 
3.  Program the Vehicle’s Hot Card List with the Data Logger. 
a. Press 
Enter to start the Data Logger. 
b. Press 
8 when the LCD displays “Action?(1-9)”.  The LCD will display “Action?(1-9) Hot Card 
List” 
c. Press 
Enter to accept the choice.  The LCD will display “Hot Card List” 
d.  Present the Data Logger to the Vehicle Interface. 
e.  Listen for a sequence of three quick beeps to indicate the interaction is complete. 
f.  Remove the Data Logger from the Vehicle Interface.  The Vehicle Interface LCD will display 
HOT CARD LIST UPDATED” 
g. Press 
Cancel on the Data Logger.  The LCD will display “Action?(1-9)”. 
4.  Remove the Vehicle from Maintenance Lockout. 
5.  Repeat steps 2 to 5 for each Vehicle. 
 
OTHER DATA LOGGER FUNCTIONS 
 
Date / Time (#7) 
 
This function is used only in a G FORCE PLUS system.  Each Vehicle Monitor has a clock used to time-stamp 
Events.  The clock requires setting when a Vehicle Monitor is initialized, as well as at Daylight Savings Time 
changes.  A G FORCE PLUS RF system does not use the Data Logger Date / Time function because updates to 
the Vehicle Monitor clock are done via the RF communications link.  
 
6.  Get the PC’s Date / Time.   
q. Press 
Enter to start the Data Logger. 
r. Press 
7 when the LCD displays “Action?(1-9)”.  The LCD will display “Action?(1-9) Date / Time” 
s. Press 
Enter to accept the choice.  The LCD will display “Date / Time: YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM” 
t.  Present the Data Logger to the Software Interface. 
u. Select 
Program | Date Time from the menu of the Fleet Manager software.  The status bar at the bottom 
left of the window will provide progress information.

the 
OK button to confirm completion.
