Gently lift up the locking mechanism and pull the two parts of the connector in opposite 

directions. 

Do not pull from the connector from the cable. 

Connect the battery to the Reader. 

Before connecting the battery to the Reader, verify the position of the connector pins. 

(See arrows in Figure 12) 

A wrong connection (as shown by the arrows above) can cause a short circuit and 
destroy the battery!  
 

 

1.  Set the wire around the back part of the Reader and fix it with 3 plastic strips. 

Make sure to do this clockwise.
