4.2 Installing TCP/IP in Windows

Step 1.
Click on Start -> Settings -
> Control Panel.

Step 6.
From the General tab click Install.
Step 7.
In the Select Network Component Type window, select
Protocol and click Add.

Choose Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) from the Network Protocol
list box, then click OK.

Check to see if
Internet Protocol
(TCP/IP) is listed in
the Local Area
