The PIN is usually requested each time 
the phone is switched on. You can deac-
tivate this feature but you risk unau-
thorised use of the phone. Some service 
providers do not permit deactivating 
the control.

Defined by you (4-8 digits) the 
first time you call up a phone-
code protected function 
(e.g. Direct call, page 33). If 
phone code is entered incorrect-
ly three times, access to the 
phone code and the functions
