Control codes (DTMF)
Send control code
You can, for example, enter control 
codes (numbers) for remote access 
to an automatic answering machine 
while another connection exists. 
These entries are transmitted 
directly as DTMF codes (control 
codes).

Open call menu.
Send DTMF
Select.
Use the Phonebook 
Store phone numbers and control 
codes (DTMF codes) in the Phone-
book/Addressbook in the same way 
as a normal entry.
Enter phone number.
Press until a "+" appears in 
the display (wait for the 
connection to be estab-
lished).
Enter DTMF codes (num-
bers).
If necessary, wait again 
for three seconds at a 
time for the receiver to 
process the entries safely.
Enter a name.

Press.
You may also store just the 
DTMF codes (numbers) and then 
send them during the call.
Copy protection
Applications may be copy-protected. 
Applications protected in this way 
may only be run on devices for 
which they are intended. It is, how-
ever, always possible to create a 
backup copy of these applications on 
your PC using the "Siemens Data 
Suite" (p. 122).
CSD connection
(Circuit Switched Data)
Data is transferred via a data connec-
tion to a dial-in point pre-set by your 
network operator or service pro-
vider. This connection can be used 
for exchanging data, such as, for 
example, Internet access, or for 
downloading games and applica-
tions as well as for using WAP ser-
vices. 
As long as you are using this connec-
tion for downloading applications 
from the Internet or using services, 
you must pay connection fees 
according to your network operator’s 
or service provider’s table of charges.
