Load a completely new user interface in 
your phone. With the press of a key, var-
ious functions are re-organised based 
on a theme, e.g. switch on/off melody 
and opening/closing melody.

Theme files are automatically packed to 
save memory space. Themes are 
temporarely unpacked when activated, 
e.g. after a download (page 84) or a call 
from 

In addition to the automatic exchange 
of theme parameters (e.g. switch on/off 
melody), you will have to manually set 
parameters such as Logo.

You can set pictures separately for the 
following functions:

Wallpaper
Background image used on the display 
in standby mode.

Logo
Graphic to be displayed instead of the 
provider logo.

If you want to use the navigation soft-
ware, you should switch on 

. Otherwise the navigation does 

not announce directions. 

• When you select a theme all the compo-

nents of the theme apply to the phone, 
e.g. ringtones, wallpaper. The existing 
settings might be overwritten.

• Subfolders within the theme folder are 

not supported. The theme might not be 
recognized.

• If a preview of the theme is available,

to view the selected 

theme.
